Sam Hawkey

A founding partner and principal of Boston Urban Partners, Sam has worked in the commercial real estate industry for over 12 years. During this period, Sam has completed well over a hundred retail & restaurant lease transactions in Boston, Cambridge, Brookline and the surrounding areas, being responsible for more than forty retail leases on Newbury Street alone.

In addition to retail & restaurant leasing, Sam also specializes in investment sales, having sold over a dozen commercial properties in and around Boston, including 71, 85, 91, 123, 131 & 172 Newbury Street, all totaling over $50 million in sale transactions to date.

Prior to founding Boston Urban Partners with Jonathan Dutch & Ann Ehrhart, Sam began his commercial real estate career with The Dartmouth Company in 1998, co-founding the “urban team” in 2002.

Recent notable deals he has negotiated in Boston’s Back Bay include: Converse; Jack Wills; Diane Von Furstenberg; Levi’s; Brooklyn Industries; Ted Baker, Joe’s American Bar & Grille; Ed Hardy; Ben Sherman; True Religion; All Saints; Max Brenner; Agent Provocateur & TD Bank.

Sam is a 1996 graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. Sam currently resides in Needham with his wife and two rescued dogs.
